Team Kian tops bookies list for The Voice of Ireland winner

Siobhan McKenna, Liam Geddes & Christina Foran favourites to win The Voice Of Ireland

Bressie aka Niall Breslin was still chasing Westlife’s Kian Egan this morning to take the lead in RTE’s new talent show The Voice. The Blizzards frontman and solo star is the 5/2 second favourite with Paddy Power behind Westlife’s Kian Egan at 13/8 to manage this year’s winning act.

But it’s Sharon Corr the boys need to watch out for according to the bookies. Paddy Power cut her odds of mentoring this year’s winning act to 5/2 after she secured Tallaght man Kevin Keeley (25/1) and seductive singer Fauve Chapman (25/1) on Sunday night.

Most of the betting however continues to be for Siobhan McKenna on Team Kian, and Liam Geddes, also Team Kian, who are both joint favourites at 8/1.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, said: “Kian gets a lot of ribbing about not being a proper musician or a great singer but so far three of his acts are topping the betting. Bressie, Brian and Sharon must be getting very worried.”
