Westlife regret releasing Barlow track

Westlife have admitted that they regret releasing the Gary Barlow-penned track Lighthouse as a single.

However, Lighthouse failed to feature in the top ten of the UK chart and peaked at number 32, becoming their worst-performing single to date.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper Nicky Byrne said: "It's disappointing as we've never had a chart position that bad. Our fans instead bought tickets for our last tour next May."
He added: "Beautiful World, which Mark wrote, would have been better. However, as we're splitting up, whether it charted at number one or number 100, it makes no difference to the next six months for us."
Westlife released a music video for their track Beautiful World yesterday. featuring highlights from their 14-year-long career.
