WESTLIFE might be over but Kian Egan has thrown himself into his new job as a coach on The Voice.
The singer has turned talent scout and was on the set of the new RTE show at Dublin’s Helix yesterday hunting for the best of the best.
But there was no more Mr Nice Guy as Kian battled it out against the other coaches Brian Kennedy, Bressie and Sharon Corr during the blind auditions.
Kian said: “So far the talent has been outstanding. The Voice is going to blow previous talent shows out of the water.
“The talent levels are so high it’s hard to find the ones who are really standing out. Ireland can definitely sing.”
Hundreds of hopefuls will be taking part in the blind auditions over the next few days where the coaches sit with their backs to the stage.
