BRIAN McFadden admitted last night his former group, Westlife, couldn't dance and sing in tune at the same time as he stepped in to defend boy band Capree.
The Sydney group was slated by Australia's Got Talent judge Kyle Sandilands for not hitting all the right notes.
But McFadden said the group had "potential to be massive" if they boosted their performance with extra vocals on a backing track.
"*NSYNC did it, Backstreet Boys did it, everybody does it, but you don't get to do that because that's not how this show works," he said.
